Large silver art deco style pendant incorporating a carved black basalt rock scarab beetle amulet, decorated with Egyptian hieroglyphics on reverse. The pendant has an Egyptian hallmark. Created for protection of the heart, this pendant has a chain, bail and a detachable loop. A necklace is not provided with this item. Circa 1976.
